Power To Sail is a Yacht Crew Recruitment Agency based in Antibes, South of France with an individual approach, using experienced Crew Recruitment Consultants to find the best Yacht Crew. Our rates are amongst the lowest in the business for this type of placement service.
We are not a CV distribution service; we do not inundate potential employers with 20 CV’s the moment after they have made contact; because then the client is effectively having to sift through the CV’s and do the recruitment process him/her self. The way we do it can take a little longer and in the first instance but is proven to be quicker and more cost effective in the long run. Firstly we need to know what the employer’s requirements are in terms of the skills they need and their expectations in terms of hours, duration of employment and cruising area. Then we need to be able to convey what the employer can offer the candidate in terms of accommodation, salary, career development and longevity. We understand that candidates will be required to fit in with any existing crew member then we get to work and contact our selection of likely candidates, all of whom we would have interviewed and reference checked, prior to proposing them to a prospective employer. We describe the position being offered and if we feel they are a good fit; we put them forward.
We will, in all cases if possible, send one of our staff to meet with the rest of your crew to better gauge who will fit in well to the existing team. This is a bespoke service and designed to find the right candidates; however demanding the post.
For yachts requiring temporary staff or crew for one or two days per week; we can supply you with top experienced candidates, including Captains, Engineers, Chefs, Deck Hands and Stewardess’.
Our fees are very straight forward.
If we place a crew member for three months or one year then the amount of work from our side is the same. So we charge the same fee.
Every placement is guaranteed for 1 month; that is providing the employer has fulfilled his/her obligations according to the contract.
The fee for placing crew members is an amount equivalent to 50% of the monthly salary plus VAT/TVA. (If applicable)
