Jonathan Browne

Jonathan founded Power To Sail in March 2007; after having worked in senior positions with brokerage houses and distributors for manufacturers such as Custom Line, Ferretti, Pershing, Azimut and Riva both in France and the UK. The ethos behind Power To Sail is to give clients objective information and advice on which to make a balanced decision. Jonathan speaks English and French. Mathilde Grouiller

Mathilde joined Power To Sail in April 2009 to head up the Crew Recruitment business; Mathilde has previously worked in Crew Recruitment and Crew Training. She started her career in yachting as a Stewardess and worked her way up to becoming Chief Stewardess on a busy Charter Yacht. She is very enthusiastic and dedicated to finding the best candidates for the position on offer and fully understands the ins and outs of working on a yacht. Mathilde is French and speaks excellent English. Catherine Hunter

Catherine joined Power To Sail in 2011 and is the Personal Assistant to Jonathan. Catherine has previously worked in market research and for a Yachting Supplies company. Joanna (Jo) Long (formerly Marr)

Jo joined Power To Sail in 2010 and runs the Service and Charter divisions. Having previously worked in After Sales, Service and Charter for the Ferretti Group Distributor in France. Jo was a colleague of Jonathan’s when they both worked for the Ferretti, Pershing and Riva distributor in Golfe-Juan.  Having lived in France for 30 years Jo is bilingual.  Dr. Jennie Beattie

Jennie joined Power To Sail in 2008 to help with business development and marketing. Jennie is a boating enthusiast and has previously worked in Boat Sales in the U.K. and more recently as a researcher at a University Hospital in Nice prior to choosing the commercial world over the academic. Jennie is developing the sales and marketing structure for the new marina development in Imperia, Italy; as well as helping out with charter. Alan Scott

Yacht Broker: Alan joined Power To Sail after selling his own successful printing company and manages the UK operation; Alan is a former client of Jonathan’s having bought his boat off him new in 1995 (Sold it in 2010!)
