Jonathan Browne

Jonathan has always had a passion for boating; he was brought up on the Norfolk Broads and always had access to a speedboat and sailing dinghies. His first job after leaving college was as an Mechanic on a self drive hire fleet on the Thames, then he trained as a Passenger Boat Captain on Loch Lomond and was at the age of 22 a relief Captain on the 130 tonnes ‘Countess Fiona of Arran’. From there he went to Greece and worked on flotilla yachts for two years, before finding his niche in Boat Sales back on Loch Lomond. Since then he has sold some of the leading brands of Motor and Sailing Yachts before deciding in early 2006 that a new approach was needed; one that encompasses an all round service and endeavouring to give the client objective advice on which to make a balanced decision. The ethos behind Power To Sail is to provide a professional service and to go the extra mile for the client, to build a mutually respectful relationship where the clients expectations are met if not exceeded. Mathilde Grouiller

Mathilde joined Power To Sail in April 2009 to head up the Crew Recruitment business; Mathilde has previously worked in Crew Recruitment and Crew Training. She started her career in yachting as a Stewardess and worked her way up to becoming Chief Stewardess on a busy Charter Yacht. She is very enthusiastic and dedicated to finding the best candidates for the position on offer and fully understands the ins and outs of working on a yacht. Mathilde is French and speaks excellent English. François Roux

François joined Power To Sail after selling his controlling interest in a plastic manufacturing company in the north of France. François is a very keen motor boater is delighted to have found a position within Power To Sail that allows him to not only sell boats and berths, but to do the large majority of the sea trials for clients.  Dr. Jennie Beattie

Jennie joined Power To Sail in 2008 to help with business development and marketing. Jennie is a boating enthusiast and has previously worked in Boat Sales in the U.K. and more recently as a researcher at a University Hospital in Nice prior to choosing the commercial world over the academic. Jennie is developing the sales and marketing structure for the new marina development in Imperia, Italy; as well as helping out with charter. Alan joined Power To Sail after selling his own successful printing company and manages the UK operation; Alan is a former client of Jonathan’s having bought his boat off him new in 1995 (He still has it!) Martyn Browne

Martyn joined the Power To Sail team in the summer of 2009 and has already brokered a good number of deals. Martyn (Jonathan's older brother)has a degree in Naval Architecture and has worked in the commercial boat world for many years.
