Martyn and Jonathan were born in Norfolk, England. Their mother was a teacher, their father a farmer and a passionate boater. Every weekend the whole family would go sailing or water skiing.
Their fascination did not diminish with time. The two brothers followed similar career paths and worked on oil rigs, became Masters of passenger boats and later in their careers they moved into sales.
Martyn heads up the operation and works closely with Jonathan who is resident in France. As Martyn stated in a recent interview:
“Years of working for companies whose commitment to the client finished the moment their cheque had cleared encouraged me to start my own company. The yachting industry is my passion and I appreciate and respect everyone who feels the same way as me. It is a community so everyone who is a part of this community should trust and respect each other. This is the ethos behind Power To Sail.”
